, The perfect bridge-position companion to the '57 Classic, the '57 Classic Plus mimics those late-1950's humbuckers that received a few extra turns of wire. This treatment gave the pickup slighter higher output without sacrificing its rich, vintage tone.

AA flamed maple top is exactly the kind of wood that went on the Les Pauls in '59. Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups are precision re-creations of original "Patent Applied For" pickups, right down to the mismatched windings. Original bumblebee capacitors, long-tenon 1959 rounded neck profile, CTS pots, original aluminum stopbar, and tons of other details make it look, sound, and play identically to the original. Mahogany back and neck with rosewood fretboard.

Gibson is proud to introduce the Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior. Designed in close cooperation with Billie Joe, the signature guitar is modeled closely after “Floyd,” Billie Joe’s original 1956 Les Paul Junior. With a mahogany body and neck and nickel hardware, the Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior combines the best features of a vintage Junior with some modern twists. With a new special design stacked double-coil H-90 and a vintage style non-compensated wraparound tailpiece, the Billie Joe Armstrong is a ferocious, resonant rock ’n’ roll guitar, truly worthy of Billie Joe’s name.

John Lennon and George Harrison both used Gibson J-160Es for much of the acoustic work heard on Beatles albums. In 1967, Lennon commissioned a psychedelic paintjob for his trusty J-160E for the "All You Need is Love" satellite broadcast (though Lennon opted not to play the guitar during the broadcast). This is a Limited Edition Replica of the Gibson that Lennon used faithfully while recording, in movies and for live performances. The Peace Model resembles Lennon's Guitar in 1969, after he stripped away the psychedelic paint job.
