The Birth of A Rock Giant
Pros: Great musicianship. Hot improvisations. Cons: None. Bottom Line: The beginning of metal?
Pros: Jimmy Page on guitar, Plant vocals, Bonham drums, Jones bass Cons: None In the days of their youth, they knew what it meant to be a band
Pros: A heaviness unknown for 1969. Plant's wail, Page's shredding, an untouchable rhythm section. Cons: Too much emphasis on the blues for me. Some songs simply ramble on. Bottom Line: A Fantastic Debut From A Fantastic Band
