Great car seat!

Even though the Britax Roundabout is priced slightly higher than many comparable seats, I would highly recommend it.

We bought this car seat for my son when he needed to move out of his infant seat and into a "Big Boy" seat. After reading reviews online, we opted for the Britax Roundabout because I wanted a safe seat that was easy to use and would last.

I am so glad we ended up purchasing this seat. It has proved to be everything that was promised by the positive reviews. It installs easily and securely - and installs well both rear-facing and forward-facing. It's a little large for the relatively small back seat of my car, but that's my biggest complaint. We liked our first Britax so well that we bought a second for my husband's car.

One more positive attribute that I would like to comment on is the ease of removing the fabric seat cover. Admittedly, it's a little difficult at first, but once I figured out how to remove the seat cover, it's quite simple. This is pretty crucial, as I am regularly washing the seat covers. My son is a pretty typical kid, and he's always getting into his seat with mud or crumbs or something sticky on him, so this is an important feature that allows me to throw the seat cover in the washing machine quickly.

Now that our daughter has joined our family and my son will soon outgrow the Roundabout, we will be in the market again for another Britax.
