Pros: A good vehicle for the price.

Cons: I wouldn't buy this vehicle if you're looking for a lot of space.

I recommend this vehicle if you're wanting an SUV but don't really need the space or the gas guzzling of the larger models.

I fell in love with this vehicle 6 months ago and bought it that day. I am still loving it everyday. It is a big step up as far as looks go compared to the later models. The interior looks very modern and feels durable. The exterior looks more like the Explorer, only smaller. I recently took this vehicle on a trip from Dallas to San Antonio with four passengers. It did great. We had plenty of room for all four people and everyones' luggage. It was comfortable and only had to fill up with gas twice! Also, this past week it snowed and the roads froze over, but in the Escape I felt safe on the road and it handle very well in the ice. Shopping for groceries was a breeze since the back seat folds flat leaving the entire back end of the vehicle open for shopping bags. Also, it does get decent gas mileage for its size. The Escape is fun to drive, feels safe, and looks nice too. My only complaint about this vehicle is that while it is small enough to get OK gas mileage, it is not quite big enough to be really useful for something like moving.
