2006 Ford Freestar

The Freestar returns for 2006 available in four trims: SE, SEL, Limited, and Cargo van models. There are two engines available on the Freestar. The SE and Cargo Van's receive a 3.9L V6 with 193 horsepower and 240 lbs-ft of torque while the SEL and Limited are equipped with a 4.2L V6 producing 201 horsepower and 263 lbs-ft of torque. The 4.2L V6 is the largest engine currently available in a minivan. Another versatile feature is the third row bench seat that folds-away into the floor, leaving a flat cargo compartment. Safety features include the optional three-row front-to-back head protection air bags and standard front and rear disc brakes with ABS.
