The H3's goal is to preserve the brand's Lego-block styling identity and go absolutely anywhere off-road ability, while offering a more affordable, more garageable, more fuel-efficient vehicle for the masses. Riding on a 118.6-inch wheelbase and measuring 74.5 inches wide, the H3T concept embodies the classic Hummer proportions -- wide stance, low roofline, and wheels at the corners. Minimize

Pros: Extremely capable offroader. Very strong!

Cons: Lacks passing power. Seat controls in very tight place ones doors are closed! MPG!

The Bottom Line:
Other than the underpowered the inline 5 and the hindered rear site this vehicle is a strong, very safe, highly capable vehicle. Better mpg than h2 but not great

This is an extremely capable off-road vehicle even more so than the h2 and h3. Similiar to colorado in the fact that it has a same style chassis and thats it! The h3 chassis is a boxed frame and much stronger, hence the great weight difference. This is a great off roader for the avid outdoorsman or woman. Great turning radius better than my 2005 explorer. This is not a very family friendly vehicle in the fact that it lacks child safty locks, a rear climate control, and the rear visibility is hindered by the spare tire. An aftermarket rearview camera or cheap fresnel lens will alleviate this problem greatly.Large side view mirrors make up a little for the bad rear view. The automatic off road suspension version get lower mpg than standard version with automatic due to the more aggressive and larger tires. H3source.com is an excellent source for reviews and info on this vehicle from more actual owners. After market accessories are plenty and on many occasions items such as side steps and roof racks are better purchased after market due to sometimes better quality and better cost. If you plan on going offroading the OEM underside protection is a must as well as some magnetic side protection. The rear seats fold down very flat and provides a pickup truck tuff rubber bed with plenty of catches to keep your stuff down. Overall great vehicle for the outdoorsman but not great as a daily driver or family vehicle for small children. The 2007 version will have more power so test drive both and see what you think!
