Sometimes you know exactly what to expect. Other times, life throws you a curveball. Thankfully, there's the CR-V. Because whether you're driving to the grocery store after work or taking a surprise weekend getaway, the CR-V is versatile enough to help. Have a seat inside and you'll marvel at how much room there is for gear, supplies or friends. Front side and side curtain airbags are standard on all models. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) controls brake pressure and engine power to help maintain traction. The new 2005 CR-V features 16-inch wheels and revamped styling, both inside and out. And if you're looking for a new level of refinement, be sure to check out the 4WD Special Edition CR-V with Leather. Minimize

This car keeps getting better and better!

Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: comfortable, AC cools immediately, decent gas mileage, great storage room, numerous cup holders, great pick-up

Cons: The look of the radio could be better, gear shaft position is awkward

The Bottom Line:
Look no further than the 06 Honda CRV! I wish I would have gotten the 4WD! This car is great.

I bought my 06 Honda CRV 2WD 4 months ago and this weekend was the first time I used the SUV for more than commuting. It was an awesome vehicle to have camping. There was more than enough room for our camping gear and we got to use the picnic table and the wet storage area. (It also looked really cool parked in the woods.) This SUV drives like a car and always feels very "peppy" when driven. Even the guys that have borrowed my CRV have been impressed with it's pick-up and comfort. It is the perfect blend of comfort and utility. I have not gotten more than 24 miles to the gallon even on the highway, but I'm sure using the air conditioner on max AC is the reason. Also, the AC kicks out arctic air almost immediately after the car is started up. The seats in the car have great lumbar support and the arm rests help avoid fatigue on long trips. There is a ton of storage in the doors, also. I have the Sahara Sand version and it takes a lot of dirt to make it look dirty. The Honda financial services web site is incredible. It puts you in control to pay your bill On-Line automatically or on your own. It also allows you to view statements and it sends you automatic service reminders. I am very satisfied.
