Families with three young children will love Joovy’s Big Caboose Stand-On Triple stroller - how else could one parent take three children out at once? The Big Caboose is easy to use and it includes two full size seats with canopies, two child trays and two foot rests - and your 3rd older child can ride on the patented rear platform. If you have multiple children, this will be the first stroller you will use that gives the child in the middle seat ample room. Minimize

Joovy Big Caboose BIG Let Down for this mother of 3 little folk

Author's Rating: 2/5 stars

Pros: Seems pretty sturdy. 3 color options. Seats 3 children adequately. Large storage basket.

Cons: Needs abundant space to transport. Difficult to steer. Big price tag. Looks cheap.

The Bottom Line:
Great in theory, but don't waste your money. $349 & $40 to ship. Too expensive, tough to transport, & difficult to manage on normal surfaces like sidewalk or asphalt.

Author's Review
Purchased the Joovy Big Caboose in Late June 2007. Was very excited to get it after the birth of my son. My son is my 3rd child, & my oldest is 4. With having 3 children under 4 I thought the Big Caboose would be a lifesaver. I thought it would be PERFECT for carting the 3 children. My 4 year old loved the idea of the jump seat or being able to stand when I pushed. However, that only lasted about 2 trips in the stroller. She lost interest quickly. Also, it is VERY HARD to maneuver on surfaces such as sidewalks or asphalt. It needs something like handlebars or extra grips off the existing handle to allow for the ability to put "some muscle" into pushing on those surfaces. It rolls wonderfully on stuff like the floor at the grocery store or say like Costco. But how often do you use your own stroller at those places? Overall, I'm greatly disappointed in the stroller I thought to be my lifesaver. Now I'm trying to unload it on Ebay & go back to using my good old Eddie Bauer Tandem Stroller for my newborn & my 2 year old. My 4 year old is over the novelty of the new stroller & prefers to walk. And I'd NEVER take it to the airport because even though it's only 37 pounds, it's a monster on needed space when folded, & airline folks would most likely break it in transit between destinations. Overall, not worth the hype or the money.
