Bottom Line: Exciting to watch, and gratifying as a piece of film history, Raiders of the Lost Ark is one of the best action films ever made.

Pros: Fast, furious, and FUN, all the cast, especially Ford and Rhys-Davies
Cons: Nothing unless you're really picky (apart from some parts being scary for young children)
Bottom Line: For pure adrenaline-packed fun, there are very few films that can match Raiders of the Lost Ark

Pros: Fantastic screenplay, great score, and an appealing central character.
Cons: None.
Bottom Line: Simply the best action film to come out of the 1980s, and a fun and diverting romp, Raiders remains a classic of its genre.

Bottom Line: Spielberg's initial foray into the world of the Saturday matinee serial is a modern classic.

Pros: Ford as Jones. Fun adventure movie with likable main character.
Cons: Snakes, snakes, and more snakes. Did I mention snakes?
Bottom Line: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark was a very well done, entertaining adventure movie that I still enjoy watching.
