This is one of the best albums of the 1990s. During the age when alternative music was booming. The one that actually stands out the most is Siamese Dream. Starting with the blazing Cherub Rock. Going through the commercial hits Today and Disarm. Over time certain tracks have grown on me, especially Quiet and Soma too. There's more to discover, as well.
Spaceboy is a track about Billy Corgan's mentally disabled younger brother. It gets sweeter towards the end of the album with soft tracks such as Sweet Sweet and Luna. Butch Vig produced this album, and Butch is famous for producing albums from Nirvana, and his own band named Garbage.
This it the album that made the Smashing Pumpkins a household name. Sometimes it's nice to relive the memories of the smashing 1990s. Go on and relive it.
Soma is particularly an ethereal track that rocks so melodically. It's a major break away from the Smashing Pumpkins first album, Gish. Some people wish that the Pumpkins could still sound like Siamese Dream. You'll find layered guitars galore and more with this awesome album. You will enjoy this CD, and I'm sure that it will become a part of your permanent music collection.
